A message for Mrs.beach ~

Mrs.beach, I knew that this was hard for you, you are a mother and you are human. You have every right to be mad, and every reason to cry! Every one deals with pain in different ways! Why do we laugh when we are embarrassed or nervous, not because we feel like laughing. There is nothing I can say that can even begin to chip away the pain that surrounds your heart. Know that you are not alone in this world, that there are others out there who have to be strong for their loved ones, always so strong, but who is there to be strong for them? Yes read your bible... It is good, and perhaps you will find your strength there, but also know that everyone needs an outlet, and if this (blogging) took your mind off of things, even for a few moments every day, then it was a good thing! *hugs* If you ever need to talk, my im names are listed in my profile! Please do not hesitate to contact me! It has been a pleasure reading your blog, and you have definately left an imprint on my life, and on my heart. I will keep you in my prayers and only hope that this will help keep you strong! I am sorry to see you go, but I understand completely, and wish you and Larry the very best!

To the rest of my readers, please keep Larry and his mother, Mrs.beach, in your thoughts and prayers, as the trials of his illness keep coming, and that his mother find some strength and inner peace through God's love. I guess I am activating a blog prayer tree, if there is such a thing. In real time there are phone trees, in which you call your friends and they call their friends. The power of prayer is in your corner mrs.beach!

What was your favorite movie in 2005? I have not had a lot of time for movies, but I would probably say that Star Wars III was really good, and the Chronicles of Narnia was also Awesome!
What was your favorite book in 2005? hmmm.... not to sound redundant, but I read Chronicles of Narnia for the first time, and it was by far my favorite!
What was your favorite music album in 2005? Seventeen days by three doors down, hands down! The most awesome song on there is Landing in London!
Richer or Poorer? Broke just the same, I am a college student, what did you expect?
Thinner or fatter? Unfortunately heavier... but I am working on that.
What kept you sane this past year? The voices in my head, just kidding. My best friends Larry and Ruth, my Mom, and my faith...
Which personal accomplishment in 2005 are you most pleased with? I started my Junior Classes at UF, attending UF has been a life long dream.
What resolutions have you made for '06? I have quit smoking, 9 days no cheating... And I am trying to lose the extra pounds I put on while taking prednisone for my back.
Which bad habit are you most motivated to break? Smoking It is expensive and it smells bad, and it is bad for my health!
Which resolutions do you expect to keep? Both of them
What are you most looking forward to in 2006?getting that much closer to graduating... Right now the Highland games in January and the Hoggetowne medieval fair too! After that, who knows what the future may hold!!!! :)

I am not really tagging anyone, cause I was not really tagged. I just saw it on Carmel's blog , and thought it might be a good reminder to keep motivated for your resolutions, and being that we can all use a little motivation every now and then, I thought I would post it!

I could not resist, yall know me and my computer cartoons and pics! lol, I have got to get me one of these!

Classes started today! I think I am going to get along with both of my teachers just fine, the both seem to be nerds, which means I will fit in! One is a cool nerd (like me) and the other one is kind of a dorky nerd, but still likeable. Both are enthusiastic about their subject matter, and both of my classes are fairly small. My Spanish class is only about 30 people, 15 of which showed up today, my psych class is only 75 people, though the teacher said that about a quarter of which will drop by the drop/ add date. I sat in the front row, like I always do (I don't see very well, though Lar would tell you it was because I am brown nosing which I resent) well I was the only one in the front in Spanish, and when the teacher called roll, and I raised my hand, he made sure to say, see Heather here is in the front row. I was so embarrassed, all I could do was say, "yeah I am a nerd what can I say," and laugh it off. He went on to explain that he would rather people sit in the front since it is such a small class.... great, I am already on a first name basis with Sam.

I think I am really going to like my classes this semester. This has not happened in a long time, school has been hard, and not enjoyable the last few semesters, but this, though it may be hard, is right up my alley, so to speak... okay enough rambling from me!

I kinda liked asking a question the other day, so I think I will do it agian... not sure if this will become a daily thing or not... feel free to answer here or just mull it over in your head... or answer it on your blog, or just ignore the question all together. lol... just figured it was a way to get to know the blog roll a little better.

Why do you blog?

I blog because well, I like to write, and I never have enough time to just sit down and write anything for fun. It is not poetry, or anything, but it does make me feel like I have done something for me. It is also away for me to work through some things. It gives me pause in a busy day, sanity in a crazy day, a smile in a lonely day, a lift in a low day. It also helps me feel somehow connected to those that I have met through blogging. :)
